Mobile Billboard truck advertising is best used when one wants to sell to motorists and pedestrians be it in any locale in the metro. It can be used as a part of a major media mix to target audiences nationwide, for event marketing like conventions, concerts, sports, special sales, or for distributing samples at stores. Fleet advertising can broaden the reach of a national, regional or local campaign; adding variety, frequency, and value, or can be a campaign in itself. Often trackside advertising is used to make a dent in restricted or saturated outdoor advertising markets

Advertising on the sides of a truck or bus or cab advertising is effective. Outdoor Advertising Magazine has reported that outdoor mobile media billboards have a 97% recall rate. Ninety-six per cent of respondents thought mobile advertising as more effective than traditional outdoor advertising, it said. 3M and the American Trucking Association has revealed that 91% of targets noticed the text and graphics on truck advertising, while The Traffic Audit Bureau has noted that on local routes monthly impressions ranged from one to four millions hits. According to Product Acceptance and Research 94% of respondents recalled seeing the Mobile Billboard, with 80% recalled the specific advertisement, the billboards sales increased to 107%.
